Kangshun Zhao is a Ph.D. student from the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Wuhan). His research mainly focuses on how socioeconomic development affects the supply of aquatic food and resource distribution, and how fisheries ecology and diversity respond to it under climate change. He is also interested in aquatic ecology and has a lot of experience in field research. Some of his current projects include exploring how climate warming and fishing affect the functional diversity of the world’s largest marine fisheries, mapping the trophic level of aquatic food consumption around the world, and evaluating the impacts of international trade. Kangshun Zhao likes running, and swimming, and is good at ping pong.
