Phoebe Racine (fee-bee ruh-seen) (she/her) is an NSF Graduate Research and UCSB Presidential Fellow at UCSB’s Bren School. Her research focuses on quantitative marine agricultural ecology and consumer behavior. Some of her current projects include mapping seaweed aquaculture’s potential to mitigate nutrient pollution, surveying California consumers to understand diversity of seafood species consumption, and assessing the social implications of offshore finfish aquaculture. In her spare time, Phoebe likes to be outside and work with her hands. She appreciates a good pun.
